God’s Time Periods

God’s Time Periods refers to periods of time that God created, during which He will accomplish the ultimate purpose for which He created them. They began at some point in the past and will conclude at some future time. They are neither eternal into the past nor eternal into the future. As a result, God will have satisfactorily accomplished His purpose for them at their conclusion.

The Scriptures frequently refer to these periods of time. This article concentrates particularly on the Greek New Testament and all that it has to say about these periods of time. Of particular importance are the Greek words aion and aionios and their corresponding English translations of forever, eternal, everlasting, and other similar terms, as used in the King James Version of the Bible. No knowledge of Greek is needed.
